Hybrid inverters (F-series fault codes)
Deye F13 error code
Grid loss / grid voltage or frequency out of range.
Likely causes
- Actual grid outage
- Grid voltage outside the configured window
- Loose AC input terminals
Checks to run, in order
- 1Confirm supply at the main DB
- 2Measure grid voltage and frequency
- 3Inspect AC input wiring
Fixes
- Widen grid settings only within safe limits
- Correct wiring
- Wait for grid restoration
When to escalate
Persistent nuisance trips despite healthy grid supply should be reviewed with the distributor.
Before you open the inverter
- Isolate both the AC and DC sides, then confirm the display is dead before touching terminals.
- Use insulated tools and one hand where possible. DC arcs do not self-extinguish like AC.
- If you see burnt terminals, swollen cells, leaking electrolyte or a burning smell, stop and escalate instead of resetting the fault.
